Brisbane-based Yield Advisory more than doubles partnership in matter of months
Brisbane-based accounting and advisory firm Yield Advisory has more than doubled its partnership to seven in the space of a few months, with Jake Haebich and Elisha Manning the latest additions.
Haebich, head of financial planning, and Manning, the company’s marketing leader, have both been at Yield Advisory since 2019, and now join fellow recent additions Emily Peers and Stephanie Higgins as partners, taking the firm’s total number to seven.
Founded in Brisbane in 2014 by Lachlan and Hayley Ballinger, Yield Advisory has since grown to a team of around 45 accounting, tax, and wealth advisory professionals, including those based on the Sunshine Coast following a 2024 merger with Focus Professional Group.
Led by Lachlan as managing partner, with his former Pilot Partners colleague Scott Lumsden serving as tax partner, Yield provides a wide range of integrated services across its three key practices with a modern, data & cloud-driven approach and focus on clients operating in the healthcare & pharmacy, property & construction, and professional services sectors.
New partners
Haebich joined the firm in 2019 on the back of a commerce degree in accounting and financial planning, noted as providing him with a holistic perspective as to long-term wealth creation, while Manning crossed in the same year from a senior marketing consultant role at KPMG, where she had spent over six years – her elevation to partner as a marketing function lead described as ‘unique’.
“Jake and Elisha have been an integral part of the Yield Advisory journey, helping shape our culture, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to our growth,” the firm stated. “Their appointments reflect more than individual achievement, demonstrating our commitment to recognising talent, investing in our people, and building a leadership team that will drive Yield into its next chapter.”
The pair’s promotions follow shortly after that of Higgins and Peers as business advisory and strategy & execution partners, after respectively four years and over a decade the firm – Peers joining soon after its establishment via Brisbane boutique FWO and Higgins bringing and earlier decade-plus spent between Focus Professional Group and Evolve Accounting & Advice.
“Steph and Emily are exceptional leaders who have had a huge impact on our team, culture, and clients,” Ballinger said at the time. “When we founded Yield Advisory we set out to build a different kind of accounting and advisory firm. One that prioritised culture, well-being, and leadership development. Seeing Steph and Emily step into these new partner roles is exactly what that vision was about.”
