Teneo appoints Brigid Glanville as Senior Managing Director in Australia
Teneo has announced the appointment of Brigid Glanville as a Senior Managing Director within its Strategy & Communications business.
Based in Sydney, Glanville will advise boards, executives and senior leadership teams on corporate reputation, communications, stakeholder strategy and communications-related issues affecting their organisations.
She brings more than 25 years of experience across corporate communications, media and public policy. Prior to joining Teneo, she was Managing Partner for Corporate and Financial Communications at GRACosway, where she advised clients on high-profile corporate and reputational matters.
Earlier in her career, she served as a senior adviser to a state government minister and spent a decade as a senior political editor and news presenter with national broadcaster ABC. She also held reporting roles covering politics, business and key economic sectors in Australia and overseas.
“Teneo has built a remarkable business in Australia and globally, with an unrivalled ability to bring together expertise from across disciplines and markets to help clients navigate complexity,” said Glanville. “I am delighted to be joining the team at such an exciting time, and I look forward to working with colleagues across the firm to counsel clients through their most critical moments.”
Glanville is a board member of Odyssey House, one of Australia’s largest drug and alcohol rehabilitation providers, as well as Gidget Foundation Australia, which supports parents experiencing perinatal depression and anxiety.
“Brigid is one of the most accomplished and respected strategic communications advisers in Australia,” said Lauren Chung, CEO of Teneo’s Strategy & Communications business in Asia-Pacific. “Her judgement, experience and connectivity will be invaluable to clients navigating increasingly complex business and stakeholder environments.”
