Synergy promotes Angus Allan and Mark Stoya to director level
Canberra-based consulting firm Synergy Group has promoted two of its senior advisors to Executive Director: Angus Allan and Mark Stoya.
Allan has been with Synergy Group for two years, having previously served EY for twelve years. At the Big Four firm, Allan worked in the firm’s Advisory division focused on performance improvement, business transformation and change management. More recently he was an Assistant Director in the firm’s HR Projects team, working with internal colleagues on delivering global HR initiatives across the EY organisation in Asia Pacific.
Appointed a Senior Manager at Synergy Group when he joined, Allan has now seen his successful track record rewarded. During his two year spell, he has among others helped National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) with the implementation of a new Grants Management system, the Department of Agriculture with simplifying its benefits management and the Department of Parliamentary Services with the setup of a strategic plan.
Part of Synergy Group's Performance & Financial Management practice, Allan specialises in assisting organisations – particularly government departments and agencies – with improving their performance and transforming their business.
Fellow freshly appointed Executive Director Mark Stoya has been with Synergy Group for nearly four years, specialising in the delivery of medium to large-scale software system implementation projects, including both packaged and tailored applications spanning across front, middle and back office functions.
Before joining the Australian consultancy, he worked nine years as an independent contractor for clients in financial services (Barclays, Deutsche Bank) and healthcare, and five years at Accenture in its consulting division. At Synergy Group, he focuses on technology implementations in the public domain.
