Katherine Henry joins Russell Reynolds Associates in Melbourne
Katherine Henry, a former consultant at PwC Consulting, has joined Russell Reynolds Associates in Melbourne.
At the executive search firm, Henry has been appointed Head of the Human Resources Executive practice for Australia. She focuses on assessments and search assignments for senior roles – including Chief People Officer, Chief Transformation Officer and HR Director – across all sectors for both public and private companies. Henry also specialises in executive succession, talent development, team effectiveness and culture.
She brings over two decades of experience in the human capital space to Russell Reynolds Associates, with 430 consultants across 46 offices in 25+ countries one of the globe’s larger talent consultancies and executive search firms. After starting her career in the federal government, Henry joined PwC Consulting, where she spent six years in the firm’s human capital and strategic change practice.
Following the global acquisition of PwC Consulting by IBM in 2002, Henry joined the consulting division of the American technology giant, working as a Project Manager and later on as HR Manager in an internal role. Since, she worked as Head of HR at financial services company ANZ, law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth and public listed IT services company UXC.
In the past two years, Henry was General Manager People and Transformation member of the executive team at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), responsible for delivering the human capital agenda, as well as the organisational transformation program across the enterprise.

Katherine Henry holds a BA in Social Sciences: Human Resource Management, Psychology and English Literature from Monash University School of Psychology and a graduate diploma in career development from the School of Psychology at Deakin University. She is also accredited in coaching and is a qualified Counselor and Organizational Careers Practitioner.
