Twelve graduates join consulting program of Third Horizon
Sydney-based management consulting firm Third Horizon has welcomed an intake of twelve new graduates.
Established in 2004, Third Horizon is a consulting firm that specialises in strategy execution, focused on the delivery of large-scale implementation programs. According to Managing Director Neville Bagot, “we help our clients develop and implement strategies that deliver lasting and substantial improvements in performance.”
Boosting its junior ranks, Third Horizon recently admitted twelve young professionals into its Graduate Program, lifting its headcount to around 70. The group have been picked out of dozens of applicants, selected on the basis of their background and credentials, fit with consulting, strong interpersonal skills, and desire and ability to deliver quality, among others.
The selected graduates are: Conor Lyons, Ananya Sinha, Ryan Mulcahy, Simone de Bruin, Sam Finckh, Emma Lamb, Will Connelly, Mellisa Liu, Pranjal Ghimire, Reece McKenzie, Katie Bowman and James Stokes.
“We thank each one of them sincerely for choosing to come on the journey with us and for entrusting us to help nurture and develop their careers,” said Bagot, who co-founded Third Horizon after spending many years with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and BearingPoint.
The graduates work alongside experienced consultants and client teams on change projects, and are handed the opportunity to work on engagements across different industries during their two-year graduate program. Meanwhile, the juniors are offered a training programs to help them develop consulting skills and advance their interpersonal capabilities.
According to career platform Glassdoor, Third Horizon’s graduate program is one of the leading such programs in the consulting industry, with one alumni lauding the firm as a “great place to commence” a consultancy career. Meanwhile, another consultant said that the program offers a great mix of on the job experience and training, providing for a steep learning curve.
Bagot: “We will put every effort into ensuring that the first year of our new graduates is an exciting one which will see them being challenged on a diverse range of industries and competency areas, develop core consulting skills, integrate with clients, meet new friends and have fun along the way. We look forward to their new perspectives and thinking.”
In March, Third Horizon joined the consulting division of global player Publicis Sapient.
