Kate Hart joins partnership of Kearney in Australia

Global strategy and management consulting firm Kearney has admitted Kate Hart into its Australian partnership.

The newly promoted Kearney partner has been with the consulting firm for eight years, across two spells. She re-joined Kearney In October 2016 as a Senior Manager, having gained industry experienced at Telstra. Before her first four year spell at Kearney, Hart served natural resources companies BHP Billiton and ExxonMobil across various roles in operations. 

At Kearney, based in Melbourne, Hart is a leader in the firm’s Strategic Operations practice, specialised in operations strategy, business transformation, supply chain management, procurement and business process redesign. Projects she has led and worked on include helping a client in the industrial sector with realising an EBIT uplift of 10-15% through various productivity levers, and a retailer with the development of its 2022 network strategy and implementation roadmap (including delivering a refreshable network model).

Her industry expertise focuses on clients in the consumer products, retail, and energy & resources, processing industries, mining, oil & gas, telecommunications and banking sectors.

Internally, Hart supports Kearney’s thought leadership endeavours, including contributing to a recent papers on e-commerce and last-mile delivery, agile procurement, and also plays a role in the mentoring and coaching of consultants.

Alongside her consulting work, Hart is a well-known face in Australia’s procurement and supply chain community, often speaking at conferences including the AFGC Supply chain conference and Women in Procurement. Back in 2012, she launched the Women in Procurement and Supply Chain initiative, which offers keynote speakers and informal networking at events that have been attended by hundreds of professional women.
