Brisbane-based Effectus Consulting has joined forces with Arthur J. Gallagher, one of the globe’s largest firms specialised in insurance brokering and risk management services.

The deal is Arthur J. Gallagher’s seventeenth deal since the start of the year, but only its second outside of North America. In June, the US-headquartered group bolted-on Queensland-based CA Insurance Brokers, and four months down the line the firm is now also adding Effectus Consulting to its ranks.

Founded in 2017, Effectus Consulting offers human resources and talent development strategies, talent diagnostics, culture and engagement surveys, mediation, performance management, and executive coaching services to clients throughout Australia.

The trio will join Arthur J. Gallagher as part of the deal, as well as Jason Rodgers (he joined Effectus Consulting in 2018 and served as chief executive) and the quartet of (senior) consultants Summer Garcia, Simone Jeavons, Laura Bennett and Laura Ambrose.

Commenting on the joining of forces, Krebs took to LinkedIn to pen down, “Exciting times ahead!”, while Garcia added, “This is an exciting moment adding to the growth and success story of Effectus Consulting. I am proud to be part of the journey and very much looking forward to the future.”

The team will continue to operate from their current location and work closely together with Arthur J. Gallagher’s Australian outfit, under the direction of Leslie Lemenager, Vice President International for Gallagher’s employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations.

Patrick Gallagher Junior, President and CEO of the global professional services firm said: “Effectus Consulting offers us significant cross-selling opportunities for initiating discussions with existing clients around the importance of offering career benefits, as well as organisational performance programs. We are delighted to welcome them to our team.”
