Matt Saggers joins Protiviti's Australian enterprise cloud practice
Global consulting firm Protiviti has strengthened its team in Australia with the hire of Matt Saggers.
Appointed a Director in Protiviti’s Enterprise Cloud wing, Saggers brings 20+ years of experience to the consulting firm. At the consultancy, he will focus on expanding its cloud offering, which helps (mainly large) organisations with their entire cloud journey, from envisioning and planning through migration, implementations and managed services.
Founded in 2002, and a subsidiary of US-listed Robert Half, Protiviti is a consulting firm that has a strong heritage in the finance and risk & compliance domain. Coupled with its technology expertise, and partnerships with technology vendors including Oracle, SAP and AWS, the firm can offer its clients an end-to-end cloud transformation service.
“What an amazing first week it has been at Protiviti,” reflected Saggers on his start. “I have met so many amazing and capable people who are clearly customer obsessed. I’ve already started on an engagement with an innovative customer, leading their migration to the cloud. So much to learn and so much energy around me.”
Prior to joining Protiviti, 46-year-old Saggers spent more than eight years at Telstra, where he most recently led the company’s Managed Service Transformation initiative, underpinning Telstra’s strategy for security, internet of things and cloud. The initiative is part of the digital pillar of Telstra’s corporate strategy, developed in collaboration with consultants from McKinsey.
Before that, he worked at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where he held roles in infrastructure product management and IT service management.
“We are absolutely delighted to have Matt join our Enterprise Cloud practice. Matt has a wealth of experience, excellent industry knowledge and a detailed understanding of our key clients and why relationships matter,” said David Kissane, a Managing Director at Protiviti (and formerly a partner at Deloitte).
