Converse Strategy founder Daryl Wright leads AusTTA in Queensland
The Australian Transformation and Turnaround Association has launched in Queensland, appointing experienced consultant Daryl Wright as the inaugural Queensland Chapter State President.
Launched in 2018, the Australian Transformation and Turnaround Association (AusTTA) is the body for transformation professionals and transformational executives and professionals across business, government and not-for-profit sectors in Australia. The association supports the career development of its members through a range of training opportunities and events, and provides professional certifications to individuals.
Following the recent launch of its Victorian Chapter, AusTTA has now also expanded into Queensland, as the association seeks to meet “increased transformational leadership capabilities in the region,” said Chairman Kyle Loades.
“As organisations shift away from the traditional annual strategic planning to more regular strategic reviews in response to the higher levels of uncertainty, there will be a corresponding shift in the volume of complex and transformational change required to implement revised strategies.”
“The same is true for navigating the Covid-19 crisis. Adapting to the market shifts caused by the pandemic and the lower growth conditions ahead will require significant change. Our Queensland chapter will help organisations in Brisbane and beyond with building the capabilities needed to succeed.”
Leading the charge in Queensland is Daryl Wright, the founder and managing partner of Converse Strategy, a boutique Brisbane-based consulting firm. He is an experienced transformation and turnaround consultant with diverse experience advising corporates, small and mid-sized businesses in a variety of industries in South Africa, the United States, and Australia.
Wright is a graduate of Queensland University of Technology’s Leading Transformation & Complex Change course (a course endorsed by the AusTTA) and is passionate about the opportunity to help transformation leaders and professionals in Queensland “connect, share challenges and learnings”, which will help them “increase success rates of transformations,” he said.
AusTTA now has Chapters in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.
