Kellie Blackall joins EY’s technology consulting arm as a partner
EY has strengthened its digital advisory leadership team with Kellie Blackall, who joins as a partner.
Kellie Blackall joins the Big Four accounting and consulting firm from Australian IT consultancy Empired, which in July was picked up by Capgemini for $233 million. She spent three and a half years at Empired, latterly as General Manager of the Business Applications division, leading the firm’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power offerings.
Prior to that, Blackall served as Practice Director for Business Applications across the East Coast of Australia. In the role, she was responsible for the effective performance of large delivery teams, cross-functional projects and overall performance of sales, delivery and satisfaction of customers.
Earlier in her career, Blackall was with Microsoft for nearly two decades, gaining extensive industry experience in the Microsoft solutions space. At the technology giant, she held several (senior) roles, including leading teams that implemented Dynamics implementations across the Asia Pacific, Greater China, India and Japan region.
Now at EY, Blackall will advise the firm’s clients on the implementation of Microsoft solutions and the adoption of emerging technologies. She is based in the firm’s Sydney office.
Blackall has a true passion for technology: “What we can do now with the Power Platform, artificial intelligence and machine learning has opened up incredibly powerful opportunities in the data modelling and business intelligence space. We can simplify the complexity of difficult tasks that are currently out of reach of most business users.”
