Grant Thornton bolsters CFO Advisory practice with John Askham
Grant Thornton has bolstered its recently launched CFO Advisory team with John Askham, who is based in Sydney.
In the footsteps of its global organisation, Grant Thornton mid-last year launched a dedicated CFO Advisory service. Tapped to lead the practice was Peter Barnikel, a former Big Four veteran.
Having enjoyed a flying start – “we’re seeing strong demand for our services” commented Barnikel – the practice has now strengthened its team with senior expert John Askham.
Askham is a Chartered Accountant who has spent the past fifteen years with EY. He started out with the firm in its Audit division in the UK before moving to the Financial Accounting Advisory Services team in Sydney in 2010. His track record includes working with multinational and domestic clients on financial reporting, finance processes, merger and acquisition accounting, and ESG-related finance.
