Monish Paul joins FTI Consulting as senior managing director
FTI Consulting has strengthened its Economic Consulting practice in Australia with former Deloitte and IBM partner Monish Paul.
Appointed a Senior Managing Director, and based in Perth, Monish Paul brings more than 25 years of experience advising clients in business and regulatory economics, transaction advisory and business transformation to the firm. He leads FTI Consulting’s Economic and Financial Consulting practice in Western Australia.
Paul gained experience in both consulting and industry roles, and serves as a non-executive director at Western Power, P&N Bank and Landgate.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Paul co-founded a boutique corporate advisory firm in Perth (‘Adar Consulting’) that focused on areas such as business strategy, capital and commercial structures, business economics and environmental, social and corporate governance.
Before that, Paul was a partner at IBM Consulting and spent close to fourteen years at Deloitte Consulting, latterly as a partner.
During his consulting career, he focused on engagements on government and public policy, infrastructure, energy, utilities, and financial services. Earlier, Paul spent over a decade in Australia’s public sector.
“Monish’s extensive experience across a number of consulting and industry roles will further strengthen our national team and service offerings into Western Australia and the broader Australian market,” said Robert Southern, a Senior Managing Director and Head of Australian Economic & Financial Consulting at FTI Consulting.
Founded in 1982 in the United States, FTI Consulting is one of the globe’s largest management consulting firms. The consultancy has more than 6,200 employees worldwide, with its Australian team operating from offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.
