HKA adds forensic accountant Leanne Tanner to Australian team
Global risk mitigation and dispute resolution consultancy HKA has strengthened its Australian team with Leanne Tanner.
Appointed a Director in the Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages practice of HKA, Leanne Tanner brings over 18 years of experience in forensic accounting and damages quantification to the consulting firm.
She gained all her experience in the professional services industry, having previously served Aon and Deloitte, where she specialised in business interruption consulting, and two boutique expert services firms in the United Kingdom.
HKA’s Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages practice advises clients on the economic impact of complex commercial disputes and forensic accounting matters. The team develops financial and economic analyses for clients in litigation and arbitration, supporting them with decision-making and testimony.
Tanner has extensive experience in assessing and quantifying damages, with knowledge of disputes relating to competition, financial services, telecommunications, construction and insurance.
“I’m delighted to welcome Leanne to the team. She has very strong technical knowledge and an extensive background in the quantification of damages. She will be a great asset to the team and our clients,” said Jonathan Humprey, Partner and Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages Lead in Asia Pacific.
Earlier this year, HKA was named one of Australia’s top forensic & litigation consulting firms for 2022.
In Australia, HKA operates with offices in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
