Arcadis appoints senior trio in Australian mobility business

Global engineering consultancy Arcadis has made three senior appointments in its mobility business.

Michael Downing joins Arcadis externally, and brings around two decades of experience in engineering, infrastructure and project delivery to the firm. He most recently served as the interim CEO Asia Pacific for Blue Visions Consulting’s Project Services Group. Earlier in his career, he worked for counterparts Mace, Worley, WSP, AECOM and SNC-Lavalin.

His experience spans all sectors and industries, with the last decade focusing on multi-billion dollar capital programs in rail, road, aviation, and ports.

Joining Arcadis as the new Sales Director for Mobility is Cindy Williams, an expert with over two decades of experience in the government and consulting sectors.

Since starting her career for Gold Coast City Council, Williams has then served as Assistant Director for Airport Planning for the Department of Infrastructure, and Project Manager at RPS. She most recently served WSP in its Canberra office.

Sydney-based transport planner Nicole Vukic assumes the role of National Business Leader for Transport Planning and Advisory. She similarly has around twenty years of experience working with both the public and private sector to facilitate multi modal mobility solutions.

Vukic has been with Arcadis since 2018. In her previous role, she worked on a diverse range of transport planning and mobility infrastructure projects.
