Hatch appoints Alfredo Remy as Australasian Director of Advisory

Global multidisciplinary engineering company Hatch has appointed Alfredo Remy as Australasian Director of Advisory, the company’s management consulting business.

A subsidiary of Hatch (10,000 staff in 100+ countries), Hatch Advisory is a management consultancy that specialises in the metals and mining, energy and infrastructure industries.

Appointed to lead the practice, Remy oversees Hatch Advisory’s strategy and business operations across its footprint in Australia, New Zealand and neighbouring islands, and is responsible for topics including client delivery, partnerships with stakeholders, governance and practice management.

Remy, who spent the past six years as Hatch’s Director of Advisory for South America, brings close to three decades of experience as an engineer and management consultant to the role.

His career prior to Hatch saw him hold leadership roles in industry, including serving as Regional Maintenance Manager for Barrick South America, and Director of the Peruvian Canadian Chamber of Commerce and President of its Mining Committee; and in consulting, including serving as partner at PwC, leading the operations Advisory practice and mining practice in South America.
