Publicis Sapient adds Salesforce consultancy Tquila to Australian outfit

Salesforce consultancy Tquila has been acquired by Publicis Sapient, one of the world’s larger digital transformation companies.

Founded in 2014, Tquila is a pure play Salesforce partner (Platinum level) with a focus on delivering solutions on the Vlocity, Salesforce Industries and MuleSoft platforms. Tquila has a team of over 60 professionals working from offices in Sydney headquarters), Brisbane, Melbourne and Canberra.

The deal comes at a time of rapidly growing demand for Salesforce services. According to IDC, the global Salesforce economy will create US$1.6 trillion in new business revenues between 2021-2026, a rise of more than 350% over the previous period. To meet this demand, large consulting firms such as the Big Four, as well as tech giant including Accenture, Capgemini and Publicis Sapient, are turning to M&A to beef up their capabilities.

Last year, Publicis Sapient acquired Changi Consulting, a Middle East based Salesforce partner. In Australia, Publicis Sapient closed its last deal in 2020, when Third Horizon was integrated into the firm’s consulting division.

Meanwhile, for Tquila, the joining of forces with the global player will provide its clients access to Publicis Sapient’s scale, with complementary access to its Salesforce expertise and broad cross cloud capabilities.

In 2015, Accenture acquired the UK organisation of Tquila (which launched in 2010 and had reached the size of 100 staff when it joined Accenture).
