Restructuring consultancy Worrells promotes nine to principal
As insolvency and restructuring appointments continue to rise to pre-Covid-19 levels, national insolvency and turnaround firm Worrells has promoted nine principals across its network of offices.
In its 50th year, the latest round of leadership appointments bring the firm’s total number of principals to 34 across its practice areas in 28 offices nationally with Andrew Worrell, James Robba, Jody Ross, Alex Siu, Brendan Giles, Crystal Wright, Youssef Sarakbi, Rita Chan and Georgie Harrison all promoted to principal.
Principal is the highest level of leadership at Worrells, the equivalent of partner in other major professional services firms. The intake lifts the number of principals at Worrells to 60-plus.
“We are thrilled to recognise these individuals who continue to uphold Worrells core values, display a high level of skill and talent in their areas of expertise, and deliver exceptional service,” said Paul Burness, principal at the firm.
Burness added that the appointments reflect growing demand for restructuring services. “In recent years we’ve seen insolvencies rise in the aftermath of the pandemic. Our team understand insolvency to the deepest level as registered liquidators and bankruptcy trustees, which means we’re able to provide the best options and advice to anyone affected by an insolvency situation.”
