RSM elevates Kristie Dundon to Melbourne managing partner
RSM has elevated Assurance and Advisory Partner Kristie Dundon to leader of the firm’s Melbourne team.
Now in her 20th year at the professional services firm (a partner since 2010), Kristie Dundon succeeds Jonathan Easton in the office leadership role. “I am excited to lead the Melbourne office into our next phase of growth and create a people-focused workplace where collaboration is at the forefront,” she said.
“Stepping into my new role, I look forward to continuing to provide our valued clients with the high quality of service that RSM is recognised for, and to helping them best navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead.”
“My primary goal over the few next years will be working with teams to identify areas of improvement, implement strategic initiatives, while continuing to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture”, Dundon added.
She brings with her a wealth of significant experience in assisting clients predominately across the not-for-profit and public sector environments. In her practice, Dundon helps clients meet their regulatory obligations and assists Audit Committees, Boards and Management to ensure regulatory responsibilities are met.
She also specialises in providing technical and regulatory accounting advice to clients to assist in meeting compliance obligations.
In terms of industry specialisations, Dundon has gained expertise across health and community services, education, charities, religious organisations, insurance, research, and the development and arts sectors.
“Kristie’s collaborative leadership style, her longstanding dedication to RSM and strong commitment to building sustainable relationships with clients and colleagues made her the perfect choice to lead our Melbourne team into the future,” said Jamie O’Rourke, chief executive of RSM in Australia.
