Fresh off dislodging Grant Thornton from seventh spot on the AFR’s annual list of Australia’s top 100 accountancies by revenue, RSM chief executive partner Jamie O’Rourke cited the strength of the team for its strong financial performance; “This success is directly attributable to the calibre of professionals working at RSM and the digital-first approach to assisting clients in the challenges they face every day.”

Tim Ryan
Ryan joins RSM in Canberra after two decades with Apis, a public sector-focused consultancy acquired by Accenture in 2019 – following which Ryan continued to serve as managing director until early last year. He now leads RSM’s management consulting business in the Australian capital, with earlier public service experience via a stint as an assistant secretary at the Health Insurance Commission.

Linda Romanovska
RSM has further boosted its national ESG leadership with the appointment of sustainable finance expert Romanovska as a partner in Sydney. A PhD-holder from UNSW, Romanovska crosses after spending the past two years at PwC, and has for more than a decade worked as a researcher, advisor and member of numerous government and non-profit climate-related agencies in Europe and Australia.

Ian Tho
Also a doctorate-holder, Tho is now an RSM partner in Melbourne. An honorary fellow with the University of Melbourne, Tho has previously been recognised as one of the nation’s top ten analytics leaders, and prior to RSM served as Google’s head of data science & advanced analytics for the Asia Pacific. He was also an executive director with Ferrier Hodgson management consulting arm Avarium.

Liz Mannoor
Mannoor meanwhile joins RSM’s assurance & advisory partnership after more than a decade and a half with Deloitte between Australia and India, serving as a director in Brisbane since 2015. Having also worked for the local Mazars member in Pune, Mannoor has amassed 20-plus years of cross-industry audit and financial advisory experience, with a current focus on the healthcare and non-profit sectors.

Brett Lord
RSM’s newest restructuring & recovery partner Brett Lord crosses from a managing director role at Kroll, which he helped to establish in the local market alongside fellow alum from PPB Advisory – another insolvency outfit acquired by PwC in 2018. In addition to his decade at PPB, Lord also spent three years at Ernst & Young, along with a stint at BDO and Arthur Andersen Consulting in the United Kingdom.
