Hirun Tantirigama promoted to managing director at Protiviti

Protiviti has elevated its national Technology Risk & Resilience practice lead Hirun Tantirigama to managing director.

Global professional services firm Protiviti has made 36 senior promotions across its global network to kick off the new year, including the bump of Australia-based leader Hirun Tantirigama to managing director.

Tantirigama has been with Protiviti for close to a decade. “I’m so grateful for the opportunities, secondments, support, and trust that Protiviti has shown in me throughout my career,” Tantirigama stated.

An infotech engineering graduate of Massey University, Tantirigama first joined the New Zealand branch of professional services firm PwC in 2007, before being promoted to manager in Australia and then heading to the United Kingdom for an extended international work experience. In 2014, he crossed to Protiviti.

Elevated to associate director three years later, Tantirigama returned with the consultancy down under at the start of 2020.

Protiviti has over 8,000 employees worldwide in more than 85 offices. The consulting firm is a subsidiary of human resources and recruitment company Robert Half.
