Publicis Sapient adds four seniors to Australian Consulting arm
Digital transformation company Publicis Sapient has bolstered its operations in Australia through four high-level appointments. Jane Headon, Fiona Morphett, Christopher Toyberg-Frandzen and Bruce McLeod all join the firm to occupy senior positions.
The move comes at a time when the digital market in Australia is navigating a particularly vibrant phase. Firms in Australia are keen to digitalise their operations, but remain weary of the high risks and costs involved with technological integration. Advisory firms are central to ensuring that these obstacles can be overcome.
As a result, a number of major advisory firms in the country are looking to bolster their digital capabilities. Big Four accounting and advisory firm Deloitte recently expanded its digital profile in Australia through the acquisition of The Terrace Initiative, a cloud computing firm based in Perth. And Big Four rival KPMG also acquired a digital agency last month after it fell in love with Love Agency.
Amid this activity, Publicis Sapient appears to be relying on organic growth to help drive its expansion in the country.
Jane Headon has nearly two decades of experience in the consulting industry, and will now take over as Director for Consulting at Publicis. She has worked for a number of high profile firms through her career, including LayPay and Avanade.
Fiona Morphett joins as a Manager in the Consulting division, where she will leverage her experience gained in a number of consulting roles, including at Big Four accounting and advisory firm KPMG. Morphett joins from Telstra, where she was the Strategic Transformation Manager.
Christopher Toyberg-Frandzen is formerly a member of the Danish military, and has since launched a professional career in project management. He joins Publicis from Danske Bank, he was a Project Manager, as a Manager in its Consulting unit.
Bruce McLeod is the only one of the string of new appointments not to join the Consulting wing. McLeod joins as an Associate Director at Publicis Sapient. He has more than 25 years of professional experience in a career that includes high profile names such as Microsoft and AMP Capital Advisors. McLeod was most recently the Principal Consultant at ThoughtWorks in Sydney.
Commenting on the quartet of new appointments, Managing Director at publicis Sapient Sarah Adam-Gedge said, Continuing on our strong business growth trajectory, we are investing in our consulting and digital transformation capabilities with four of the best in the industry.”
