Grant Thornton hires Deloitte partner Peter Glynn in Melbourne

Grant Thornton has appointed a new partner in Melbourne, welcoming Peter Glynn to its ranks from Deloitte.

Peter Glynn has over 20 years of experience, gained at Deloitte (18 years – including 10 as partner) and BDO (2 years). An expert in audit work, Glynn has during his career conducted external audits for ASX listed companies, private equity portfolio companies, privately owned businesses, and not-for-profit organisations.

Alongside external audits, Glynn also has experience with accounting advice, corporate advisory, transaction support, and other assurance advisory services.

“In an increasingly demanding and complex operating environment, my goal is to support the effectiveness of my client’s finance functions, particularly when a business is going through transformational change,” said Glynn.

“I have significant experience in advising local and international transport and logistic operators, which is a sector I became passionate about while holding senior leadership roles for a private equity backed global transport operator based in London.”
