At Grant Thornton, we have a national audit team, which presents opportunities to progress career and take on new adventures, as well as grow the practice in another location,” Bonner said.
Lisa Gibb has over 15 years of insolvency and restructuring experience in both the UK and Australia. During that time, she has managed a range of receiverships, liquidations and voluntary administrations, including cross-border assignments. She also advises clients on broader operational and performance improvements providing these services via pre-lend reviews, Investigating Accountant’s reports and business reviews.
As a current board member of the Women’s Insolvency Network Australia (WINA), Gibb is passionate about furthering gender diversity in the restructuring profession.
“Having worked on a variety of large insolvency appointments during my 13 years at Grant Thornton, I have developed skills to help me deliver results to a variety of stakeholders. With the support and guidance from my team and the broader Financial Advisory service line at Grant Thornton, I am excited to be stepping into the partnership.”
Ioly Kisin is a partner in Grant Thornton’s Private Business Tax & Advisory business, based in Adelaide. As a Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of experience in providing advisory and taxation services, she has worked with a diverse range of mid-tier to large corporate clients, from multigenerational family-owned businesses to privately-held foreign-owned subsidiaries.
Kisin has served clients across a range of sectors, including real estate and construction, food and beverage, and healthcare.
“Learning about my clients and how they operate is what drives me in my work. I’m thankful Grant Thornton has encouraged my professional journey from graduate to partner, so I can continue to deliver customised solutions for my clients in an ever-changing business environment,” Kisin commented.
Paul Carbone has experience with a range of offerings, including business taxation, acquisitions and divestments, business structuring, financial restructuring, financial modelling, taxation compliance, and forecasting and management reporting.

“Really integrating myself within the client’s team is where I have found fulfilment in my career. I am excited and humbled to have been promoted to partner – a journey that began from my days as a graduate – which is a testament to the growth and opportunities provided at the firm.
