Nous Group appoints four new principals in Australia

Among a record number of worldwide promotions, homegrown international management consulting firm Nous Group has elevated four professionals to principal across Australia.

Sydney-based pair Jenny Cleary and Carlos Blanco, Melbourne’s Tim Tucker, and Anita Sarris in Perth have all taken the step up to the next level – the most senior at the firm below founder and chief executive Tim Orton.

Demonstrating its resilience in the face of a challenging market, Nous Group altogether made just shy of 100 promotions among 750 staff in its mid-year round, covering further outlets in Canada, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Mexico and Ireland.

Jenny Cleary
A health and aged care sector specialist, Cleary has been with Nous Goup for just short of seven years, joining in Sydney in 2017 from boutique Amos Consulting, prior to which she spent time with KPMG in Dublin and local management consultancy Prospectus. Cleary predominantly works with government and public health organisations on strategy, reviews and implementation.

Carlos Blanco
A former international rugby player for Spain, Blanco becomes principal in Sydney after eight and a half years with the firm. Previously a scholarship coordinator with the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation, Blanco specialises in public and non-profit sector strategy, performance improvement and transformations along with corporate sustainability, ESG, and social impact.

Tim Tucker
Tucker likewise brings a social impact focus, and just so happens to have a degree in Spanish studies, along with political science. He joined Nous Group in Melbourne in 2018 from local boutique Synergistiq, and in particular serves government departments and related parties on program development and evaluation in areas such as education, employment, social housing and healthcare.

Anita Sarris
Based out of Perth, Sarris is coming up on her ten-year anniversary at the firm (which is currently celebrating its 25th), having previously served in organisational development roles with Rio Tinto in the UK and Peru. She continues in this vein at Nous Group, assisting clients with performance optimisation through organisational culture and systems design, leadership training, and change management.
