Oceanic Consulting Group adds 10 new consultants to team
Homegrown financial services specialist Oceanic Consulting Group has significantly ramped up its team over the past weeks, welcoming ten new consultants to its ranks in Sydney and Melbourne.
Established in 2018, Oceanic Consulting Group (OCG) supports financial institutions with services including strategy, business transformations and project delivery, remediation programs, business resilience, back office financial operations, human capital, and workplace design.
James Dickson, Managing Director of Oceanic Consulting Group, said the team expansion comes in response to strong demand for the firm’s services and expertise. “There is an ongoing demand for teams with our expert speciality, driven by evolving regulations and industry standards.”
New to the team are Saeed Mir, Jin Kiat Kwek, Peter Williams, Simon Lucas, Johlene Minette Jacobs, Don Romesh, Jarryd Lassen, Lou Srbinovski, Georgia Shuwalow and Heino Ling. “Together, they bring countless years of practical experience in the financial services and remediation fields.”
“The qualifications and experience of these hires will support our exceptional delivery standards and considered approach to business problems,” Dickson continued.
The addition lifts the Oceanic Consulting Group team size to 35, with the majority of new hires joining a large engagement at one of the firm’s largest clients. “Our great contribution to the project since we came on board has encouraged the client to extend our role.”
Dickson said the new members will also help Oceanic Consulting Group continue to diversify its offerings.
In the ANZ region, Oceanic Consulting Group is a partner of several financial services-focused technology vendors, including ViewTrade (focus on investments) and Alveo (data integration platform).
