Decision Revolution joins management consultancy firm Parbery

Canberra-based management consultancy Parbery has acquired Decision Revolution, with founder Belinda Newham joining the firm as a partner and practice leader.
Established as a social enterprise in 2022, Decision Revolution provides consultancy and training services to government and corporate clients focused on improving decision-making in a time of increasing complexity.
Newham joins Parbery as an Organisational Transformation partner, leading its team delivering communication, change management, workforce design and coaching services to its public, private and for-purpose sector clients.
Parbery said the two companies’ shared commitment to integrity and social responsibility would deliver even greater value to its clients, combining Decision Revolution’s solutions which highlight stakeholder impact and foster inclusive and effective outcomes with the people-first philosophy it brings to its own comprehensive range of management consulting services.
“This acquisition is a great way to start 2025 and, in partnership with our collective clients, an exciting part in our growth as a values-based Canberra firm,” stated Parbery co-founder and managing partner Kylie Burnett. “Belinda’s experiences, services and product offerings provide Parbery with the opportunity to expand and mature our already established offerings.”
As per its website, Decision Revolution contends that traditional decision-making processes are no longer adequate to address the challenges of an increasingly complex and interconnected world, and so applies a people-centred approach to innovation and problem-solving with a greater emphasis on diversity and collaboration – balancing the analytical with the people side of the equation.
Prior to establishing the business, Newham, a communications expert, spent three years with a similar advisory Catalyze, before which served as chief of strategy for AustCyber and for more than a decade in various government departments and organisations, including most recently as a director within the Australian Digital Health Agency and Attorney-General’s Department.
In looking to scale the impact of Decision Revolution, Newham said she sought a partner which would be aligned with her values: “By joining Parbery, I can continue to bring best-practice decision-making tools and support to a broader range of clients with authenticity and social conscience. I also get to apply my deep experience in strategic communications and stakeholder engagement, which I love!”
Last year, Canberra-based Parbery expanded into South Australia through the launch of a new office in Adelaide and notched an award for its consulting excellence and impact.
