GHD appoints Malcolm Dixon and Carl Willis as regional leaders in Australia
International engineering and advisory group GHD has appointed two new regional leaders in Australia: Malcolm Dixon and Carl Willis.
Appointed as Regional General Manager for South Queensland, Malcolm Dixon brings over 26 years of experience to his new role. He has been with GHD for two decades, holding leadership roles at the company across North America, the Middle East, and Australia.
Most recently, Dixon was the General Manager of Western Canada, where he oversaw significant growth and diversification of GHD’s business, and before that, he led the firm’s UAE business in the Gulf.
Having recently returned to Australia, Dixon said he is looking forward to his new role: “I'm thrilled to contribute to GHD's success in South Queensland, working with our exceptional and talented team. Having worked in major projects across transportation, water, and energy markets, I'm excited to help our clients achieve their project goals.”
Meanwhile, Carl Willis has been installed as Regional General Manager for South Australia. He too has a 20-year track record at GHD, including several years in the firm’s Philippines business. He has held senior roles in operations, clients and financial management, including Global Leader for Delivery Transformation, Market Leader for Asia, and Business Leader for Transport in South Australia.
On his new role, Willis stated: “I’m honoured to have this opportunity to contribute to my local region and to GHD's success. Working closely with our many talented people, I'm confident we can bring fresh perspectives to our projects and emphasise the importance of client-focused delivery.”
