Global technology services and consulting firm Logicalis has flown in its Asia Pacific Microsoft and AI business leader Paras Chadha to help drive the practice in Australia and New Zealand.

Having been in the APAC role based out of Singapore since early last year, Chadha has now had his responsibilities extended to include a focus on the A/NZ region as part of a unified regional Microsoft & AI strategy.

The move follows a broader integration of Logicalis’ Australia and Asia operations, with Lisa Fortey recently appointed as local general manager and former NTT Data senior leader Peter Cardassis coming on board as technical services director in May.

“Organisations across industries are increasingly seeking expert partners who can guide secure AI deployment, mitigate risk, and align AI investments to business outcomes,” Fortey said. “Paras’s experience in scaling Microsoft-led transformation across complex markets equips Logicalis to meet this growing demand with deep technical insight and strategic foresight.”

As per the firm, Chadha will be responsible for driving growth of its Microsoft & AI business and alignment between regional and global go-to-market strategies, with a focus on secure innovation, customer-centric transformation, and accelerating adoption across the key areas of cybersecurity, cloud, and AI business solutions, including as to emerging tools Copilot and Fabric.

“Being based in Australia will allow me to leverage my understanding of local customer priorities and apply these A/NZ insights to both APAC and global strategy to create a more unified and connected approach for our customers,” Chadha said. “There is enormous potential to help local businesses adopt and transform into AI-driven organisations with a secure, scalable foundation.”

Peter Cardassis
Chadha’s arrival follows last month’s appointment of Peter Cardassis as technical services director, a role covering the national delivery of consulting together with professional and managed services, with Cardassis crossing to Logicalis after six and a half years at NTT Data including as data centre & cloud practice manager and most recently director of technology transformation.

“As clients face growing complexity across technology, operations, and innovation, Logicalis Australia has a unique opportunity to become their most trusted partner in co-creating long-term value,” Cardassis said upon his appointment. “My focus will be on strengthening client relationships, evolving services with their needs, and fostering a culture that thrives on excellence.”
