A new survey of employees and human resource professionals has identified the ten best large and small companies to work for in Australia.
Australia is home to thousands of companies, and in their battle for recruiting the brightest talent and keeping their top performers on board, they all seek to stand out in employership. In its annual 'Great Place to Work' study, the researchers take a detailed look at what employees have to say about the HR practices and culture at their company, and based on the assessment they crafted a list of Australia’s top employers.
The study is based on two main dimensions of good employership. The first looks at how companies are organising their human resources function and the support they are providing employees. This ranges from ensuring employees are seamlessly onboarded into their role, providing rich learning & development opportunities, supporting individuals with their career goals, and making sure that a great culture is in place that foster teamwork, inspiration, collaboration and shared goal seeking.
The second dimension looks at how employees rate their own employers on classical satisfaction aspects such as quality of leadership, how fun it is to work at the company, compensation & benefits, growth opportunities, contributing to purpose and more.
