Andrew Jones joins SW as director and Sydney head of corporate finance
SW Accountants & Advisors has recruited Andrew Jones as director of its corporate finance team in Sydney, bringing over three decades worth of M&A and capital raising experience.
Andrew Jones joins SW Accountants & Advisors after spending his previous decade at PKF, latterly as global corporate finance leader, before which he was a partner at Deloitte and gained earlier experience with KPMG in Australia and the UK.

An economics graduate in accounting and finance from Macquarie University, Jones soon after embarked on his ‘OE’, joining KPMG in London in 1996 before returning with the firm to Sydney as a corporate finance associate director. Later, he spent seven and a half years as a partner at Deloitte, with a particular focus on transactions in the real estate sector.
Since crossing to PKF in 2014, initially as corporate finance director for Sydney & Newcastle and then as then as Asia Pacific chairman and global practice leader up until the end of last year, Jones has furthered his sector experience to cover industries such as financial services, mining, energy, transport, infrastructure, and manufacturing among others.
Across his three-decade career, Jones has advised a wide range of clients, including ASX-listed companies, multinationals, private businesses, equity funds and other financial investors, on M&A and divestments, financial due diligence, valuations, capital raising, IPOs, and strategic planning.

Jones also expressed his delight to be once again working alongside Vikas Nahar, SW’s Sydney-based national head of corporate finance who joined the firm from the partnership of PKF in mid-2021, with Nahar in turn describing Jones as having been a mentor and as significantly enhancing the firm’s capabilities in M&A and transaction support.
