Baringa adds Mayur Bhaskar and Radhini Sivanathan to Australian partner team

Baringa, a global management consulting firm with a growing local practice, has expanded its Australian partner team with Mayur Bhaskar and Radhini Sivanathan.

A partner in the Energy practice, Mayur Bhaskar brings more than two decades of experience working across Asia-Pacific, advising energy organisations as they navigate regulatory reform and market transformation.

Bhaskar previously was a Managing Director at Accenture, where he led the firm’s Melbourne office and headed the Utilities & Energy Sector across Australia and New Zealand.

“Mayur’s deep experience across energy and utilities, combined with his track record of leading complex transformation programs, will significantly strengthen the value we bring to our clients,” said Peter Sherry, Australia Lead at Baringa.

The arrival of Bhaskar comes a few months after Baringa also welcomed Radhini Sivanathan to its partnership. Based in Melbourne, she has over 15 years of experience in consulting and industry leadership, including roles at PwC in Australia and the UK, and most recently Slalom, where she was Managing Director and led the Advisory practice.

Sivanathan has worked for clients across banking, insurance, government, aviation retail, and energy and resources, and she has led teams across Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Auckland and Singapore.

Sherry stated: “We’re excited to have welcomed Radhini to our team. Her deep knowledge of the Australian market and her experience across all of our core sectors will be instrumental in helping our clients solve their most complex challenges.”

An Australian growth journey

Headquartered in the United Kingdom, Baringa has over 2,000 people across Europe, North America, Asia, and Oceania. Since launching in Australia eight years ago, the consulting firm has grown rapidly to its current headcount of around 120. Its growth and track record are helping the firm increasingly challenge the Big Four and strategy consultancies in its three markets of focus: energy & resources, financial services, and government.

“Australia is an increasingly important market for Baringa,” said Baringa’s recently appointed global Managing Partner, David Hatcher. “Securing leaders like Mayur and Radhini reflect our continued investment in bringing the very best capability to our clients as they navigate their transformation agendas. Their appointments mark the next chapter in Baringa growth in Australia.”

Outside Australia, Baringa also works for clients in consumer products, retail, pharmaceuticals & life sciences, manufacturing, and technology, media and telecoms.
