Australian supply chain consultancy ThreeSixty has appointed Warren Swanepoel as Senior Consultant.

Swanepoel joins the consulting firm from The Warehouse Group, New Zealand’s largest retailer, where he served as Head of Supply Planning across a $400 million working capital portfolio. Previously, he was Supply Chain Manager at NZ Safety Blackwoods, New Zealand’s largest industrial consumables supplier, and Head of Supply Chain at Kintetsu World Express, a major Japanese global freight forwarding and logistics company.

At ThreeSixty, Swanepoel will work across both ThreeSixty’s solutions and projects divisions, leading customer engagements in areas such as inventory optimisation, supply chain and working capital. His role includes translating complex technical recommendations into business cases for executive and board stakeholders.

Speaking on his new role, Swanepoel said he was drawn to ThreeSixty’s outcome-focused approach and culture of accountability. “I’ve worked with the ThreeSixty team before as a customer, and what impressed me was their commitment to outcomes rather than just concepts. The team comes from corporate, engineering and operational backgrounds and therefore understand what it takes to actually influence board outcomes and implement solutions in the real world.”

Arthur Dardoumbas, Executive Director of ThreeSixty, said that the hire positions ThreeSixty to address growing customer demand for inventory optimisation and capital efficiency strategies, complementing the company’s existing expertise in warehouse design, automation, and distribution network optimisation.

“Warren brings a unique perspective because he’s been in our customers’ shoes,” said Dardoumbas. “He understands the pressures and expectations that supply chain executives face daily, from board presentations to operational delivery. What sets Warren apart is his ability to bridge the gap between technical solutions and business outcomes.”

Founded in Victoria in 2018, ThreeSixty Supply Chain Group has grown to more than 30 staff across Australia, New Zealand, the US and the Philippines. The consulting firm works with major brands across retail, manufacturing and distribution sectors, including Metcash, David Jones, and Rebel Sport.
