Saoi Business Consulting helping AccountsIQ with ANZ roll-out
Melbourne-based advisory firm Saoi Business Consulting has helped global cloud-based financial management software firm AccountsIQ localise its accounting solutions to the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) markets. The solution represents a flexible alternative to legacy accounting systems.
AccountsIQ’s decision to localise its solution is partly motivated by its expanding client pool in the ANZ region, which is in excess of 50 firms. The firm has yet to disclose the full details of what this localisation entails, but known is that it will cover mainstream accounting aspects including business activity statements, local goods & services taxes, asset revaluation and other features.
A global financial management solution, AccountsIQ has developed a strong reputation worldwide, having won an Accounting Excellence Award for Enterprise Accounting Software of the Year in 2018, and having placed in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for four consecutive years.
AccountsIQ is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution that is fully hosted, offering flexibility, agility and cost-efficiency to its clients. At a time when most businesses will be looking to cut costs during and in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis, AccountsIQ is well placed to serve clients with agile financial solutions.
Pre-crisis, the timing was already opportune for AccountsIQ to expand into the ANZ market, given the growing propensity for businesses in the region to invest in cloud technology. The substantial economic benefits that stem from the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of cloud solutions has captured the imagination of a growing base of businesses in the region.
AccountsIQ’s localisation has been supported by Saoi Business Consulting, and the advisory firm is set to continue its support for the implementation of AccountsIQ’s expansion plans. The two firms have strong links, given that AccountsIQ co-founder Darren Donohoe is also the Head of Operations at Saoi Business Consulting.
According to Donohoe, AccountsIQ is very well suited for the Australian market in its current state. “AccountsIQ is the only cloud accounting software available in Australia or New Zealand which offers accounting, consolidation and business intelligence, all on one platform and at an affordable price. It fills a real gap for evolving businesses which need scalability without a large upfront investment.”
Tony Connolly, founder and CEO of AccountsIQ, said that Saoi Business Consulting will play a “vital part in delivering local services to new and existing subscribers to the platform, bringing an additional wealth of regional knowledge to the team.”
Welcoming the entry into the ANZ market, Morag McKeand, Financial Controller at AccountsIQ client Educrowd Skillsbase said, “I have used numerous accounting packages over the years (Xero, MYOB, Sage, Reckon) and have found AccountsIQ to be the most intuitive relative to the vast amount of functionality available.”
