Meet the new leadership team of PwC in Australia
One month following his appointment, PwC’s soon to become new chief executive officer Tom Seymour has formed his Executive Board.
Seymour is a 18-year veteran at the Big Four accounting and consulting firm, and in March was elected as PwC’s new CEO as of July. He will take the reins from current CEO Luke Sayers, who by then will have led the professional services giant for two four-year terms.
The CEO-elect will lead a 14-strong Executive Board, which includes partners heading strategic functions (Chief Operating Officer, Chief Strategy, Risk and Reputation Officer and Chief Diversity) and leaders in the firm’s three main divisions – Assurance, Consulting and Financial Advisory.
Strategic functions
- Tom Seymour: Chief Executive Officer, with overall responsibility for PwC’s business in Australia
- Liza Maimone: Chief Operating Officer, with overall responsibility for finance and operations, IT, and central marketing and human capital services
- Sean Gregory: Chief Strategy, Risk and Reputation Officer, with overall responsibility for risk and reputation, Office of General Council, Independence, and firmwide strategy and planning
- Julie McKay: Chief Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing Officer, with responsibility for the firm’s internal diversity & inclusion strategy, external market offering and team wellness
Assurance
- Matt Graham: Assurance Leader, with overall responsibility for our Assurance business. Matt will also become the PwC Asia Pacific Assurance Leader
- Kristin Stubbins: Audit Business Leader, with responsibility for all Audit services
- Corinne Best: Trust & Risk Business Leader, with responsibility for Risk Assurance services
Consulting
- David McKeering: Consulting Leader, with overall responsibility for all consulting services
- Nicole Salimbeni: Financial Services and Consumer Business Leader, with responsibility for all services and client accounts
- David Sacks: Government & Health Business Leader, with responsibility for all services and client accounts
Financial Advisory
- Pete Calleja: Financial Advisory Leader, with overall responsibility for all practices (Deals, Infrastructure and Urban Renewal, Tax, Private Clients and Legal)
- Chris Morris: Tax Business Leader
- Martina Crowley: Private Clients Business Leader
- Rob Silverwood: Deals Business Leader
The Executive Board formally assumed their responsibilities at the start of April.
With a total turnover of $2.6 billion, PwC is Australia’s largest accounting and consulting firm, generating revenues some $300 million ahead of closest rival Deloitte.
