Management consultancy Nous appoints twelve Directors

In its latest round of promotions, management consultancy Nous Group has appointed twelve new Directors.

Tim Orton, the boss of Nous Group, said that the new Directors have all demonstrated a strong commitment to serving the firm’s clients, while also helping the consultancy advance its own offerings, operations and talent. In Australia, Nous Group has over 350 consultants and staff, and internationally, the firm has a team of around 50 in the United Kingdom and Canada.

An overview of the new Directors:

Julia Bunjevac
A leadership development expert with extensive experience developing learning interventions that change behaviour in organisations. She joined Nous Group in 2016 and previously served among others Melbourne Business School, Australia Post and ANZ Bank.

Kendra Cockburn
An expert in public policy, with particular expertise in human services, health and education. Before joining the consulting firm in the summer of 2018, she worked for federal and state governments in Victoria, including for the Department of Health & Human Services and the Department of Social Services.

Mohamed Daif
Works with clients in government and the private sector on financial management, data insights and transformation. Prior to joining Nous Group, Daif worked for a boutique management consulting firm in Dubai, and over a decade in IT consulting at Oracle and ITWorx.

Jackson Ehlers
A specialist in providing public policy and strategic advice to government and the private sector, with a focus on economics, change and data analytics. Ehlers has been with Nous Group for six years, growing the ranks from Consultant level.

Ethan Fogarty
Based in Brisbane, Ethan Fogarty is a public policy specialist with experience in policy analysis, development and evaluation. Having joined the consultancy in the summer of 2015, he works with government and higher education organisations on organisational and public policy challenges.

Calvin Lee
A digital and customer experience consultant with nine years of experience across government, health, education, financial services, aviation and utilities, in Australia and Europe. Prior to joining Nous Group at the start of 2018, Lee worked for startup accelerator muru-D (backed by Telstra), Sydney-based software vendor Holocentric and Commonwealth Bank of Australia in its business consulting team.

Ian Mitchell
Having worked as a coverage banker for National Australia Bank and investment banker for JPMorgan Chase, Mitchell joined Nous Group in 2017. At the consultancy, he helps clients with strategy development and strategy execution, specialising in the financial services, higher education and the energy sectors.

Holly Norrie
After working for the United Nations, Australian Government and the University of Sydney, Norrie joined Nous Group in the first quarter of 2016. She advises governments, service providers, companies and not-for-profits on policy, organisational reforms, evaluations and reviews, people and culture change, community development and multi-stakeholder engagement.

Tom O’Connor
With over eight years of experience in consulting, gained at McKinsey & Company and Nous Group, O’Connor specialises in strategy and transformation and has led large, complex projects from strategic analysis to implementation. His experience spans both public and private sectors, with significant expertise in higher education, central government, minerals and resources and manufacturing.

Rosalyn Reed
Reed brings a wealth of experience on organisational design, leadership development, compensation & benefits, and human resource management to the Director role. She specialises in applying psychological principles in the workplace. Prior to joining Nous Group last year, she worked over seven years for boutique HR consultancies Mastertek and SACS Consulting.

Georgia Stern
A professional with over 10 years of experience in health, human services and education. She has expertise in managing large policy and program reviews and evaluations and has worked on projects with government departments and not-for-profit organisations. Prior to joining Nous Group in 2016, Stern worked for The Aurora Education Foundation, a non-profit that provides educational support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and organisations.

Athol Whitten
Whitten specialises in data analytics, statistical modelling, simulation and analysis in a range of sectors. He has over 15 years of experience applying scientific rigour to management questions, gained in the government and private sectors. Prior to joining the consulting firm last year, he co-owned and led modelling and analytics consulting company Mezo Research.

Alongside the Director appointments, Nous Group also promoted three to Principal and nineteen to Senior Consultant level.
