Kate Hart leads Kearney’s largest practice: Strategic Operations
A year after joining Kearney’s partnership, Kate Hart has been appointed the new leader of the firm’s largest service offering.
Now at the helm of Kearney’s Strategic Operations practice, Hart has been tasked with leading its team of partners and consultants, overseeing client engagement, and expanding its position in the market, as well as lead thought leadership and the development of new, innovative propositions.
“I’m incredibly excited to take the helm of the Strategic Operations practice in Australia and New Zealand. The practice has been such an amazing home for me – defined by fantastic projects, rewarding clients and even more importantly, a community of incredibly talented and caring people.”
Hart has been with the privately-held global consulting firm – with over 3,400 employees one of the largest in the high-end strategy segment – for nine years, across two spells. She re-joined Kearney in 2016 after gaining industry experienced at Telstra, and was promoted to partner in the summer of last year. Before her first four year spell at Kearney, Hart served natural resources companies BHP Billiton and ExxonMobil across various roles in operations.
She succeeds Enrico Rizzon, a ten-year Kearney partner who is a member of the global leadership team of the Strategic Operations practice. He previously served the Portland Group, a boutique consultancy focussed on supply chain and procurement services.
“Big thanks for his leadership of the practice over the past years and for being such an amazing mentor. Thanks also to Adam Dixon [the Managing Partner of Kearney in ANZ] and the rest of the leadership team for the continued support in my journey at Kearney,” said Hart.
Dixon commented: “Big congrats to Kate, what a year she has had. Joining the partnership, then 12 months later taking the Strategic Operations practice reigns from the ever successful Enrico. Looking forward to the next chapter of the practice under her leadership.”
