Business Aspect installs Kristian Hanlon and Peter Jarrett as co-leaders

Business Aspect has transitioned to a two-strong executive team, installing Kristian Hanlon and Peter Jarrett as joint General Managers of the 100-strong firm.

Founded in 2005, Business Aspect is a business and technology consultancy that specialises in digital strategy, risk and continuity, architecture, project delivery and cybersecurity. Since 2014, Business Aspect operates under the wings of Data#3, an IT services provider (around 900 employees) listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

The new leaders have been both with the consulting firm for years, and now take on end responsibility for the firm’s strategic agenda, financial performance and operations. “Both Kristian and Peter are proven leaders and have been fundamental to the success of Business Aspect to date,” said Data#3 Chief Executive Officer, Laurence Baynham.

“The company has built a stable and profitable foundation to position itself well for future growth. I’m confident that together in this co-leadership structure, they will lead the Business Aspect team in continuing to improve the performance of organisations by delivering business transformation through technology.”

Hanlon joined Business Aspect in 2019 and will lead from a territory perspective, with all territory managers reporting to him (the firm has offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, and Perth). He over 20 years of business management, leadership, consulting and delivery experience.

Jarrett has been with the firm since the summer of 2017, having previously served Avanade for eleven years, among others. He has held several strategic, operational, service line leadership and project management delivery consulting roles over the last 25 years, and will focus on leading Business Aspect's practices.

Co-leadership?

According to Jarrett, “Co-leadership can be an extremely powerful lever for building a great company. This model will help further align our multiple territories and bolster the consulting practice to ultimately realise Business Aspect’s market growth potential.”
