TRA has bolstered its fresh Sydney office with three experienced members, with Nikki Davey, Ngaia Calder and Tara Collins bringing close to four decades of combined working experience to the outfit.

Appointed Head of Innovation, and joining from Kantar where she held the same role, Davey’s remit is to lead TRA’s innovation capability, partnerships and thought leadership while driving growth for clients.

On her new role, she said: “I’m so looking forward to joining this incredibly talented and well-respected team and being part of a firm that has such a clear, recognised innovation mindset and fresh take on generating insights. I look forward to building strong relationships with our client partners and contributing to new, innovative offerings.”

As Business Director, Calder will focus on building relationships with key clients across Sydney and New South Wales. Appointed an Account Director, Collins has been handed a similar responsibility. The duo joined TRA from Kmart and The Behavioural Architects respectively, with Collins re-joining the firm having previously served TRA in Auckland.

The appointments mark the first joiners since Terri Hall setup the Sydney office in March this year. “I have prioritised building a skilled team whose collective passion for customer-centric insights will optimise our focus to deliver the best possible client outcomes,” said the Sydney office leader.

“We have an exciting opportunity to make an impact on Sydney’s insights market,” she added.

TRA’s other office in Australia is based in Melbourne, which launched in August last year and is led by Mark Hobart.
