Former Big Four consultant Steve Davis joins dss+ in Perth
Global consulting firm dss+ has welcomed former Big Four consultant Steve Davis to its team in Perth.
Appointed a Senior Advisor, Steve Davis will advise dss+’s clients in the mining and metals sector on topics including operational excellence, cultural transformation, and sustainability.
Davis brings over 16 years of experience working in operations and delivering transformation programs, gained both in consulting as well as in industry.
Most recently, Davis was a Director at Deloitte in its Transformation and Operations Consulting practice. Before that, he spent over three years at rival PwC, and four years at Improvement Resources, a boutique operational improvement consultancy in based in Perth.
Davis kickstarted his career at Rio Tinto, where he worked as an engineer and advisor, latterly focused on environmental governance.

Formerly known as Dupont Sustainable Solutions, dss+ has over 1,000 staff working from offices worldwide, including two in Australia, in Perth and Melbourne. Last month, the firm’s Australian outfit was named one of top mining & metals consulting firms for 2022.
The appointment comes hot on the heels of another senior hire for dss+. Early August, Tim Wall was named a Senior Advisor in the firm’s Oil & Gas practice.
