Accenture launches Centre of Excellence for Atlassian ecosystem
Accenture has launched a new Atlassian centre of excellence. Led out of Australia, the new hub will serve the firm’s growing roster of Atlassian-powered clients worldwide.
With over 240,000 clients globally, Atlassian is one of the leading providers of software solutions for enterprise agility, and product and software development. The Sydney-based technology unicorn is best known for its Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Trello platforms.
Accenture – one of Atlassian’s just six global alliance partners – is now ramping up its investments in the Atlassian ecosystem with the launch of a dedicated centre of excellence that will lead the firm’s services, capabilities and thought leadership across its footprint in more than 40 industries.
Commenting on the launch, Greg Douglass, a senior managing director at Accenturea, said, “As organisations continue to move to the cloud in droves and make substantial investments in technology to transform how they do business, new capabilities are needed for agile enterprise management. Through our strategic collaboration with Atlassian, we are bringing comprehensive enterprise agility solutions from across Accenture to our clients.”
The new centre of excellence will build on Accenture’s track record of more than 100 Atlassian engagements to date, including at companies in financial services, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals. Meanwhile, earlier this year, Accenture was named Atlassian’s Global Alliance Partner of the Year for 2022.
“Accenture has a proven ability to drive transformative value by combining technology and process excellence for the world’s largest organisations,” said Kevin Egan, head of Enterprise Sales at Atlassian. “In combination with Atlassian’s platform, designed to unlock the full potential of every individual within every team, we can achieve true and lasting digital transformation for our joint clients that is never truly done but continuously innovated on.”
Atlassian’s five other global alliance partners are Capgemini, Deloitte, GDIT, Slalom and PwC.
