Prological adds John Mills and Chris Hudson to team
Australian supply chain and logistics consultancy Prological has welcomed two new members to its team: John Mills and Chris Hudson.
Appointed a Senior Consultant, John Mills brings more than 30 years of experience in warehouse design and process engineering to the firm. Mills is a familiar face to the firm – he has been working on a project-by-project basis with Prological since 2004, and now joins in a permanent role.
“Having worked with Prological for a number of years, I’ve enjoyed being part of the team and am excited to join the growing organisation in a permanent role,” said Mills, who has over the years bagged a number of awards for his expertise and track record in warehouse design.
“I’m passionate about helping clients navigate the challenges ahead and solve complex problems through innovative warehouse design and automation. With the logistics and supply chain sector facing a challenging year, I look forward to helping clients navigate the complexity ahead,” he said.
Most recently, Mills led a Prological team that supported Penske with the redesign of its warehouse in Brisbane-suburb Wacol. “John is an industry heavyweight and one of the best warehouse designers in Australia. we’re delighted to welcome him to our team,” said Peter Jones, Founder and Managing Director at Prological.
Meanwhile, transport and logistics specialist Chris Hudson has been appointed a Senior Associate. He has over 12 years of experience in supply chain and logistics operations, with the majority of his work in the manufacturing sector.
Hudson has extensive experience in road and rail transport operations across a range of freight types and specialises in sales & operations planning (S&OP), supply chain design, inventory management, and process improvement.
“Prological has been going through an exciting period of growth over the last two years and as a result, I’m excited to join the team on a permanent basis. I look forward to helping our clients by delivering innovative freight and supply chain solutions across Australia and New Zealand,” Hudson said.
Jones: “Chris’s expertise across a broad range of freight types and organisations allows us to provide our clients with the latest innovation and thinking in freight strategies and operations. We look forward to working with Chris.”
Both Mills and Hudson are based in Prological’s Wollongong office. The now 18-strong award-winning supply chain consultancy also has a hub in Auckland, New Zealand.
