Australian supply chain consultancy Prological Consulting has continued its rapid growth trajectory, lifting its revenues by 20% in its latest financial year.

Established in 2010, Prological Consulting specialises in supply chain and transport consulting services, with a focus on international and domestic freight strategy and design.

Continuing a run of successive years of growth, the Wollongong-headquartered firm upped its turnover by 20% in its (broken) 2023 financial year, backing up the massive 250% growth realised in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic the year previous.

Growth was delivered across all facets of the business and the firm’s three main industry verticals – the B2B, B2C and e-commerce landscapes.

“We enjoyed a great client base, strong pipeline of business coming in and an even stronger team, passionate and committed to delivering excellence to our clients,” said Peter Jones, Managing Director at Prological.

“The quality of our proposals, the project management, and analytical work continues to be praised by our clients. Prological’s brand is strong and people’s perception of our business based on our public profile is proving to be consistent with the experience of those who work with us,” said Jones.

A highlight of Prological’s year was its supply chain transformation project with leading retailer The Iconic. Working with the supply chain consultancy, The Iconic solved its capacity issues, introduced a more robust Sales & Operations Planning process and reworked its existing facility in Yenora, New South Wales.

Looking ahead into the current year, Jones said that demand for supply chain expertise remains high amid a disruptive environment. “Supply chain changes every day… at Prological Consulting, FY2023/24 has started where last year finished off.”
