Fiona Narielwalla and Joanna Georgalis join BDO's partnership
BDO has boosted the diversity of its partnership team with the hire of two new female partners: Fiona Narielwalla and Joanna Georgalis. Both join from rival accounting and consulting networks.
Fiona Narielwalla joins as an Audit & Assurance Partner in the Sydney office, and brings over 25 years of experience in audit and assurance services to the financial services and fintech industry.
Narielwalla joins BDO from Big Four firm KPMG, where she spent over two decades in its New Zealand and most recently US organisation. During this time, she worked with dozens of multinational clients across the wealth management, funds management, banking, leasing and insurance segments.

Meanwhile, in Melbourne, Joanna Georgalis today joins the firm’s Advisory partnership. She joins from Grant Thornton, where she led the development of the Public Sector and Social Services practices within the consulting division.
Georgalis specialises in transformation, performance improvement, and change management, and has provided counsel to organisations across several industries, with a primary focus on government agencies, health and aged care providers and not-for-profits.

The duo join a 250+ strong partner team. They lead a team of over 2,000 staff nationally.
