Jessie Schilling (HKA) named one of Australia's rising stars for 2024
The Women in Industry Awards has released its ‘Rising Stars of the Year’ for 2024, with HKA consultant Jessie Schilling one of the seven women to feature on the list.
The annual awards ceremony celebrates the success of outstanding women in traditionally male-dominated industries such as mining, transport, manufacturing, engineering, waste management, rail, construction, and infrastructure. The awards highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and highlight the talent and potential of women in these sectors..
Finalists are announced in eleven categories, with women selected based on their track record and achievements over the past twelve months.
Jessie Schilling, a Lead Consultant in the Project Advisory practice of HKA, has been in the ‘Rising Star of the Year’ category, alongside Freya Jeffries (GroundProbe), Grace Stapley (SMEC), Kate Leone (UGL), Renee Daumuller (Incitec Pivot), Sophie Davies (Fortescue), Vivian Lee (McConnell Dowell).
Schilling was nominated because “she brings a unique blend of creative intelligence and infrastructure expertise to her role at HKA,” according to the jury. “She is known for her ability to connect ideas, fields, and possibilities with reality, transforming visions into sustainable practices for growth and empowerment. With a strong belief in combining vision with action, Jessie delivers outcomes with efficiency and systemic value in mind.”
The overall winners of the Women in Industry Awards will be announced coming Thursday at a gala event at Doltone House Hyde Park Ballroom.
