Rapid Circle expands leadership with Brian Williams and Frederique Dennison

Rapid Circle has appointed Brian Williams and Frederique Dennison to its Australian leadership team.
Previously the chief security officer of Wipro Shelde, Brian Williams has held further senior positions at NTT, NEC, and Optus. He follows A/NZ CEO Cassandra Ashworth and recent CTO recruit Rodney Hobbs in crossing from Wipro. At Rapid Circle, a fast-growing Microsoft cloud consultancy, he has been appointed as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Frederique Dennison meanwhile crosses after three years at Avanade, having previously spent more than a decade at Microsoft.
“Rapid Circle has climbed to new heights by investing in seasoned experts who allow us to be large enough to deliver but small enough to care,” Ashworth stated, noting a 50 percent rise in the firm’s managed services business over the past financial year. “Our growth is the culmination of on-shore talent, deep expertise in Microsoft products and services, and strategic acquisitions.”
Williams brings more than two decades of industry experience, including the past three years at Wipro Shield (which emerged from its Ampion acquisition) following a brief CISO stint at NTT. Previous to that, he served as head of security at NEC and as a security technology manager at Optus, having earlier put in more than a decade at Telstra in Sydney.
Dennison joins as head of alliance and ecosystems after her most recent period at Avanade as a senior director of Microsoft alliances for growth markets, before which she served as general manager of SixPivot. In addition to her twelve years at Microsoft, Dennison also spent the best part of a decade at Dimension Data across two stints, the latter during its sale to NTT.
