August Consulting welcomes senior leaders Greg Edmonds and Tyson Fowler
August Consulting has made two executive-level appointments, welcoming Greg Edmonds and Tyson Fowler to its leadership team.
Brisbane-based August Consulting is a specialist procurement and supply chain advisory firm that helps its clients drive performance, reduce costs, and improve commercial outcomes. The firm works across multiple sectors, mainly healthcare and aged care, education, and government, but also Infrastructure and energy.
Tracey Shearer, Managing Director of August Consulting, said that the arrival of the high-profile signings coincides with the next chapter of growth for the firm. “After seven years at the helm of August Consulting, I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, and even more excited about what’s next. New leaders
Appointed as Head of Client Growth and Delivery, Greg Edmonds will lead August Consulting’s expansion across infrastructure, energy, mining, and government sectors. He has over 25 years of experience and a track record of delivering 400+ major procurement projects, with deep expertise in strategic sourcing, supply chain transformation, and commercial advisory.
Edmonds most recently worked as a Principal Advisor on a major government project, and before that he held several procurement leadership roles in industry. At Charles Kendall, he was a Managing Director in its Australian business.

Tyson Fowler meanwhile brings more than 15 years of experience transforming procurement through data science, AI, and advanced analytics. Formerly at ArcBlue (part of Bain & Company), Fowler has delivered insights across $200+ billion in spend and pioneered responsible procurement analytics in areas such as modern slavery and carbon emissions.
Appointed as Head of AI, Data and Analytics, Fowler will lead the development of proprietary tools and intelligent platforms.
