August Consulting adds Luana Forrest to procurement team

Brisbane-based August Consulting has strengthened its team with Luana Forrest.

Luana Forrest brings over a dozen years of experience in procurement to the boutique consulting firm, with specific expertise in sourcing advisory, contract administration, contract formation, project delivery, process improvements, and data & analytics.

At August Consulting, Forrest has become part of the procurement team. “We are excited to have Luana join the business and add further depth to our team of procurement specialists,” said company founder and managing director Tracey Shearer.

Founded in 2018, August Consulting provides procurement and supply chain consultancy services throughout Australia. The firm works for clients in diverse industries, with a focus on healthcare, aged care, education, oil & gas, and agriculture.

Forrest joins from Procurement Co, where she worked on procurement projects in oil & gas, utilities, natural resources, and the public sector. Earlier, she worked in the procurement teams of mining company Ausenco and entertainment group Tatts.

In between, Forrest spent four years in Europe working on freelance consultancy engagements in procurement and data analysis for multiple clients, whilst studying data science at the Imperial College in London.
