David Levi and Scott Urbaniak partners at Callida Consulting

Callida Consulting, a Canberra-based consulting firm to the government sector, has appointed two new partners: David Levi and Scott Urbaniak. 

David Levi brings over two decades of experience to Callida Consulting’s leadership team. He has been working at the consulting firm since 2014, having previously served Australia’s Department of Defence, Medicare Australia and the Australian National University, where he worked for ten years in the institutions procurement function. 

At Callida Consulting, Levi specialises in performance / process improvement and systems implementation with a focus on procurement and finance. Commenting on his promotion, founding partner Paul Smith said, “We are pleased to welcome David Levi to the partnership. Since joining us in 2014, Dave has achieved considerable success in both financial management and business process improvement and automation, demonstrating unwavering dedication to his team and clients while actively growing the services we provide to our valued clients.”

Speaking of his promotion, Levi said: “My promotion is a direct result of the support I have received and what I have learnt from the following great people – my family, team and extended Callida family, and clients. Also admitted into the firm’s partnership is Scott Urbaniak, who has been hired externally. Urbaniak previously worked over twelve years for Big Four accounting and consulting firm PwC, and four years for DXC Technology. The past year he worked as an independent consultant specialised in IT security. 

Smith: “After a successful career in the public and private sectors, we are delighted to welcome Scott to the partnership. Scott’s experience across the evolving ICT landscape, will be vital in expanding and delivering our existing ICT services to our valued clients.”

Commenting on his decision to join the public sector consultancy, Urbaniak stated, “I am excited to be joining the Callida family and having the opportunity to contribute to the success and culture of the organisation. Callida Consulting has around 80 consultants and partners. The firm helps government institutions with a range of services including risk management, business process management, automation, digital transformation, financial management, sourcing and project and change management.
