L.E.K. Consulting promotes Aakash Gandhi to partner in Sydney
One and a half years after joining the firm, global management consultancy L.E.K. Consulting has promoted Aakash Gandhi to partner in its Sydney office.
Gandhi is a partner in L.E.K. Consulting’s Technology & Telecommunications practice and becomes the firm’s seventeenth partner in Australia, who operate across offices in Sydney (11 partners) and Melbourne (6 partners).
Following a career in industry, where he held (senior) leadership roles at Telstra, Optus, Infoplex, Bulletproof and HorizonX, Gandhi started advising L.E.K. Consulting as an industry expert in 2017. Two years intro their collaboration, he joined the consultancy as a full-time member, appointed a Principal. At L.E.K. Consulting, Gandhi specialises in digital strategy, emerging technologies, digital transformation, cloud computing software/SaaS, data & analytics, communications (telecom, satellites, submarine cables) and data centers, with a focus on clients in the telecom, technology and consumer goods sectors.
Gandhi also advises the firm’s transaction teams on technology, internet and digital knowhow. “We are delighted to welcome Aakash to our partnership,” said Nick Holder, a Partner at L.E.K. and Head of the firm’s seven-strong office network in the Asia-Pacific region.
An Indian national, Gandhi left his native country at the turn of the century to complete his university studies in Australia – he holds a Masters in Network Systems from Swinburne University of Technology and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
Gandhi is part of a global intake of 18 new partners at L.E.K. Consulting, 10 of which are in the US, 4 in Europe, 3 in Asia, and 1 in Australia.
