dss+ expands operational excellence and risk teams with five hires
Global operations consulting firm dss+ has expanded two of its practices in Australia – operational excellence and operational risk management – with five new hires.
The most senior of the joiners, Simon Casey has joined dss+ as a senior manager. He brings 25 years of experience as a risk and process safety consultant in the oil & gas, chemical, mining, environment and utilities industries, following an earlier career with oil & gas giant BP and advisory group GHD.
Similarly, Quinton Crew brings more than 20 years of experience gained at the likes of BP, BHP and AngloGoldAshanti. He has been appointed a senior consultant in dss+’s operational excellence practice.
Kylie Seccombe is a risk and safety specialist with 20 years of experience in oil & gas, most of them with Woodside. She joined the dss+ team as a senior consultant, and focuses on the firm’s operational risk management offerings.
Rajesh Maharaj also joined the consulting firm as a senior consultant in operational risk management. He brings over 25 years of working experience, most recently specialising in process safety and risk engineering.
Murray Jackson, an operational specialist with more than a decade of experience at Rio Tinto, joined as a consultant in the operational excellence wing.

Formerly known as Dupont Sustainable Solutions, dss+ has over 1,000 staff working from offices worldwide, including two in Australia, in Perth and Melbourne. Last month, the firm’s Australian outfit was named among one of Australia’s top consulting firms for 2022.
Earlier this summer, dss+ also welcomed two senior advisors to its team: Tim Wall and Steve Davis.
